On May 14–15, 2026, a specialized training program was conducted at the Kazakhstan Nuclear University (KNU) in Almaty for ombudsmen of the Kazatomprom group of companies. The program focused on modern approaches to conflict prevention and resolution, as well as the practical use of artificial intelligence in handling employee appeals and workplace concerns.
During the training, participants explored the nature of protest sentiments in Kazakhstan, the underlying causes of conflicts, and mechanisms for preventing and resolving conflict situations. Particular attention was paid to the legal framework governing conflict management and the analysis of real-life case studies.
A significant part of the program was dedicated to artificial intelligence technologies. Participants learned the fundamentals of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering techniques, and practical applications of AI tools for analyzing complaints, identifying key issues, drafting responses, preparing reports, and developing recommendations for conflict resolution.
The practical sessions included hands-on work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, and DeepSeek, as well as the use of AI-powered solutions for creating intelligent presentations.
The training was delivered by Mukhtar Adayev and Saule Zeinolla, with Nurai Ghani serving as co-trainer. The interactive format enabled participants to strengthen their conflict management competencies and gain practical experience in applying advanced digital technologies in ombudsman activities.
