Master’s students specialize in mediation
Master’s students of the “Public Policy” (MRR) educational program at the National School of Public Policy have successfully completed the elective course “Mediation and Conflict Management” and received special certificates confirming their qualification as “Professional Mediators.”

This certification course was implemented on a pilot basis within the framework of the Academy’s master’s programs for the first time this academic year. Moreover, based on this course, a new field of mediation has been established — Mediation in Public Administration.

🔹 The course was conducted by professional mediator Ms. Inara Rakhimzade, Consultant of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, one of the main institutions responsible for developing mediation in the country, served as a key and permanent partner of the course.

🔹 According to certification requirements, the “Parasat” Center for Mediation and Law (Almaty) was engaged as a partner. The head of the center, professional mediator and PhD in Technical Sciences Ms. Gulmaydan Urozbayeva, arrived on a special visit and conducted a training session.

🔹 The course content was jointly developed with the “Parasat” Center. The main focus was placed on the field of public administration, and special methodological materials were prepared.
